In an attempt to fully monitor the skeletal muscle systems of embryos during pregnancy, South Korea-based Samsung Electronics has developed an ultrasound diagnosis technology in collaboration with its medical equipment affiliate Samsung Medison.
The diagnosis innovation called Crystal View technology allows doctors to monitor musculoskeletal systems of embryos through the company’s own diagnostic ultrasound technique. It is expected to improve the accuracy of treatments through allowing medical personnel to monitor en embryo’s health conditions in more detail.
According to Samsung, the technology will receive government approval in within the next month, while market analysts anticipate the technology will surpass existing systems that show the 3D reconstruction of embryonic structures.
